Explanation

History, particularly written history, is one of the most important documents in mankind. It not only advises man what to do, but it also tells him what not to do. History tells the defeat of mankind, as well as its achievements. It continuously inspires people with stories of real people with hard-earned victories, or let them back off in disgust with people who had tainted the glorious pages of history with their selfishness. However, history, like any other document, is written by man. There is actually a saying that history is written only by victors. Most criticize history as being one-sided, if not totally biased. Some written history, if not all, are written only to serve the purpose and satisfaction of a single group of people—those who write it. Therefore, it is not absolute, if not totally, untrue. On the other hand, the Bible, as the word of God, written through the lives of people who had served him, is true and absolute—and it is so for all time and all cultures.
