Louis Pasteur on Nature
"The more I study nature, the more I stand amazed at the work of the Creator." -Louis Pasteur
About Louis Pasteur
Louis Pasteur was a prominent French scientist, a Chemist and a Microbiologist. Along with Ferdinand Cohn and Robert Koch, he is considered as a co-founder of the science of Microbiology. He is actually regarded as the “Father of Microbiology.” He is known across the world for the process that he developed for the appropriate sterilization of milk and wine, which is different to that of the other liquids—a process aptly named as Pasteurization. He also did experiments that supported the germ theory disease, reduced the mortality of puerperal fever, and is noted for creating the first Rabies vaccine. He had also made numerous contributions in the field of Chemistry, being primarily a Chemist, like the molecular basis of the asymmetry of certain crystals. He is interred underneath the Pasteur Institute, a research and academic institution for Microbiology, Chemistry, and related fields.
Explanation
Pasteur was one of the most prominent scientists of all time. As a pioneer in Microbiology, he is one of the first to discover and study several microorganisms. With he’s quote, he is truly amazed by the wonders of the creatures on Earth and their interaction with each other. That it is so perfectly designed that it would not have been that beautiful if one detail was changed, or did not became that way. It just shows that science and faith can go hand in hand, that even the most enlightened scientists, though they can explain the wonders of nature up to the smallest particle—still believes that everything did not happen in an accident, that is guided by an Unseen Hand.
