Einstein on Thinking Out of the Box

"We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them." - Albert Einstein

Who said it

Albert Einstein is one of the greatest theoretical Physicists of our time. Credited with the theory of relativity, the laws of photoelectric effect and the formula of energy-mass equivalence, or the famous E=mc2, there’s no denying the wide influence of Einstein in the development of several technologies and scientific theories that we have today. Einstein is awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1921 as recognition for his efforts and his contribution to changing the way we see and understand our world. What it means

This quote is insightful, as expected of a great thinker who can be the mentor for the whole world. It can be seen in the light of the theory of relativity, where it showed that the problems of physics at the time were due to the limitation set by the way that we think, that is, we were limited by the Newtonian view of the physical world. After doing away with the belief that the laws of physics are absolute, the theory of relativity was able to explain several phenomena that was unexplainable to the old framework. In simple terms, what Einstein points out is that our problems may not be as difficult as we imagine, or, that their difficulty is just all in our head. And that once we think out of the box and give it a fresh approach, it might not have been so difficult after all.
